Skyline Capital Management LLP to launch a Global Long/Short Emerging Markets UCITS fund on the MontLake Platform

Geneva, 27th June, 2011: Today, ML Capital has announced that it will be launching its third new fund in as many months, the Skyline UCITS Fund, on the MontLake UCITS Platform. Such progress is in keeping with its mandate to become the leading independent UCITS platform provider of choice for managers seeking market-share within the rapidly expanding UCITS industry.
Subject to regulatory approval, the Skyline UCITS Fund will commence trading on August 1, 2011. The fund will operate a global long/short mandate with a particular focus on emerging markets. ML Capital expects this launch to be the largest to date on the MontLake UCITS platform, with in excess of $25 million already committed by early stage investors.
The fund will be managed by Skyline Capital Management LLP, which boasts an award winning team of individuals headed by Geoff Bamber, formerly of Nevsky Capital and Matterhorn Investment. Skyline aims to deliver significant capital growth and attractive risk adjusted returns, leveraging their proven track record in identifying the key trends within emerging markets and the companies best positioned to exploit those trends.
